Blinds are stylish when it comes to privacy and easy way to control the amount of sunlight to allow in your room.  They are perfect to create a cosy space in your room, you can add some trimmings to them to make them more evident in your room. 

The Roman Blinds crafted for you are handmade specially made to fit either or outside a window recess.

Roman blinds fitted on the inside of the recess give a neat resolution and are generally more straight forward in term of fitting.  For this reason, we need exact measurements to ensure you will be able to fit them inside the recess. 

Roman Blinds fitted outside the recess can be mounted up to 10cm -15cm above the window.

Blind inside the window recess

Width Measurement
- measure at the top. middle and bottom, this the smallest measurement of the three and then deduct 1 cm to allow the blind to pull up and down without snagging.

Length Measurement
- measure the recess from top to bottom and do not deduct anything, this will be the final blind length.

Blind outside the window recess

Width Measurement
- ideally the width of the blind is the same width as the window sill, of course this is a matter of personal preference and depends on space availability.

Length Measurement
- our recommendation is to fit the top of the blind 10cm -15cm above the window and add another 5 cm to the length below the sill.
