Headboard measuring

When measuring for a bespoke headboard, it's important to be as precise as possible to ensure the perfect fit. Here are a few techniques you can use:

1. Measure the bed frame: Use a tape measure to measure the width and length of your bed frame from the inside of one bed rail to the inside of the other. This will give you the exact measurements of your bed frame and can be used to create a custom headboard that fits perfectly.
2. Measure the wall space: If you plan to mount the headboard on the wall, measure the space between the top of the mattress and the ceiling to ensure that the headboard will fit in the space and look proportionate.
3. Measure the height of the pillow stop: Determine the height of the pillow stop by measuring from the top of the mattress to the desired height of the headboard. This will ensure that the headboard will hold your pillow in the right position.
4. Measure the floor skirt: Measure the distance from the bottom of the headboard to the floor to ensure the proper length of the floor skirt.
